  • Dr. Bell has been studying and treating chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) patients for over 25 years. Now retired from everyday practice this physician/researcher/author provides a newsletter to ME/CFS patients and continues to research this disease.

  • Dr. Bateman opened the Fatigue Consultation Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2002. Brought to this disorder by her sister's illness, the FFC and the CFS/FM non-profit group, OFFER, that she founded, combine treatment and research with  educational outreach to the University of Utah. Dr. Bateman has participated in numerous clinical trials for FM and CFS treatments and is a well-known advocate for the disease. She recently served on the federal advisory committee for CFS.

  • Dr. John Chia, MD. in Southern California, was brought to this disorder by the illness of his son, Andrew Chia. Dr. Chia identified a pathogen and after several years of treatment was able to return his son to health. An infectious disease specialist, Dr. Chia identified extensive enteroviral infections in the gastrointestinal systems of CFS patients.  He has created the EnviroMed Foundation to further his research into the cause of ME/CFS.   • Dr. Chitra Bhaktra in Tustin, California comes highly recommended from one patient. She focuses on autism, CFS, FM, MS and other allied disorders.

  • Doctor Cheney - Find the most extensive collection of information found on the web by this innovative doctor at The Cheney Files on this web site or at CFIDS and FMS Support Group of Dallas Fort Worth. Dr. Cheney is now building an informative website wwith a newsletter and video's that you can access - at a cost. 

  • Dr. Enlander  - runs the largest chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) clinic in New York City. An active collaborator with other researchers Dr. Enlander's creative approach to treating ME/CFS includes immune modulators and now a hyperbaric oxygen tank.   • Pat Gurnick is a psychotherapist with a twist; she has had ME/CFS/FM for many years. Also a certified Lifestyle Counselor she advises ME/CFS/FM patients and teaches classes on how patients can improve their health through lifestyle management. Read her story as well.

  • Dr. Holtorf, the originator of the protocol used by the Fibro-Fatigue Centers, provides lots of information of his conception of ME/CFS on the Holtorf Medical Group's website in Southern  California.

  • Dr. Klimas is a well known CFS physician, researcher and advocate. She has served as the President of the professional CFS support organization (IACFS/ME) and the federal advisory committee on CFS (CFSAC) and in many other roles. In 2010 she opened a clinic that will combine treatment, research and education.

  • Dr. Lapp is well-known for his informative and down to earth talks on chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). One of the earliest doctors to focus on this disease his office has been prominent in running clinical trials for drugs for ME/CFS and Fibroymalgia.   • Dr. Lerner - is a rare combination of physician/researcher/patient. Knocked for a loop by ME/CFS many years ago, since recovering he has dedicated himeself to elucidating it's cause and providing treatment options. Dr. Lerner pioneered research into the viral and cardiac aspects of this disease. Check out his new website for video's on his approach.

  • Dr. Peterson - was one of the physicians swept up in the Incline Village Outbreak that put ME/CFS on the map in the early 1980's. After maintaining his clinic in the same office for many years (no website, no promotions - just a steady stream of patients), Dr. Peterson, in collaboration with the Whittemore's, will be opening the Whittemore Peterson Neuro Immune Institute for the research and treatment of CFS, FM, autism and other neuro-immune disorders in August, 2010. The Institute, will incorporate a strong research base with treatment and educational outreach to the University of Reno.

  • Dr. Sarah Myhill - is a UK physician who's focused, among other things, on mitochondrial issues. Along with alot of other information she very helpfully  provides lists of tests she believes will  be helpful for ME/CFS patients. Check out her information rich website here.

  • Dr. Podell -- This New Jersey physician provides a good deal of information on his approach to chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) including the "Eight Vicious Cycles That Block CFS Healing'.

  • Dr. Teitlebaum's website probably has more information than any other physician website. This well-known author and doctor specializing in chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and Fibromyalgia is now the director of the Fibro-Fatigue Centers.

  • Dr. Ziem's new and improved website has her intriguing new protocol on MCS/chemical injury and lots of helpful information. A must read for the people with this most difficult problem.

  • Learn about Mycoplasma and CFS at Dr. Nichoson's site. Mycoplasma is a hot topic in CFS right now. Increased rates of RNase L fragmentation were recently found in CFS patients with mycoplasma infections. Another site with much information including published papers.
